Another wildfire crews leaves for Quebec thanks to quiet season in B.C.

KAMLOOPS — Days after a group of firefighters left for Ontario to help with wildfire efforts in that province, another crew left from Kamloops on Wednesday for Quebec, where there are 60 active fires in what's being called an 'unusually brutal' wildfire season there.

CACHE CREEK, BC — July 6th marked the one year anniversary of the start of the Ashcroft Reserve Fire, a fire that on July 7th would take off through the hills to the west of Cache Creek, cutting off power to the region and causing the evacuations of thousands of residents in the TNRD and CRD.

Kamloops emergency crews respond to serious collision involving motorcycle

KAMLOOPS — RCMP and other emergency crews were called to the scene of a serious collision Saturday afternoon involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Westmount Drive and Westsyde Rd. 

The collision happened early afternoon.
