Ron Manz

Ron brings brings 43 years of broadcasting experience in news and sports to KISS-FM.
His career begin at CKR-TV in Brandon, Manitoba. He then had stops at CHBC-TV in Kelowna (3 yrs), CFJC Radio-TV in Kamloops (1 yr.), BCTV Vancouver (8 years), Global-TV Calgary (8 years), CTV-TV Calgary (8 years) and the Pattison Broadcasting Radio stations in Kelowna and Vernon the past 9 years.
Ron also was Media/Public Relations Director of both the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League in the mid-1980's. His career also includes working as a freelance writer for the Calgary Sun Newspaper and various magazines.
An avid downhill skier, Ron also enjoys water sports, jogging, handyman work, crosswords and reading.

Fatal crash in Kelowna

KELOWNA, B.C. — One person has died following a fatal collision between two cars and a semi-trailer truck last (Monday) night in Kelowna.

The crash happened around 9:00 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 97 and Edwards Road.
