Skyline Alternate, Marie Sharpe schools in Williams Lake see COVID-19 exposures

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — Two Williams Lake schools have been placed on the Interior Health COVID-19 exposure list.

According to Interior Health, both Skyline Alternate School and Marie Sharpe Elementary saw exposures to COVID-19 last Tuesday (Jan. 5).

Those who were in direct contact with the individual or individuals who are COVID-19-positive will be contacted by Interior Health and asked to self-isolate.

If you are not contacted by public health officials, you are free to attend those schools as normal.

This comes after Peter Skene Ogden Secondary School in 100 Mile House was subject to a COVID-19 exposure on Monday and Tuesday of last week.
