COVID-19 exposure reported at Peter Skene Ogden Secondary in 100 Mile House

100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — One of the first COVID-19 school exposures of the new year has taken place in 100 Mile House.

Peter Skene Ogden Secondary has sent a letter home to parents saying a member of the school community has tested positive for the virus and is currently isolating at home.

Interior Health says the exposure took place on Monday and Tuesday of this week, January 4 and 5.

Those who have had direct contact with this individual will be contacted by public health officials with Interior Health and should monitor themselves for symptoms.

If members of the school community are not contacted, they are encouraged to attend school as normal.
