JEFFREY TAMBOR TO APPEAR IN ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT: After being ousted from Transparent over allegations of sexual harassment, Jeffrey Tambor is confirmed to appear in the upcoming fifth season of Arrested Development on Netflix. Tambor’s AD co-stars, including David Cross, previously stood behind Tambor in the wake of the allegations. The premiere date of AD has yet to be announced. JOHN LITHGOW SET FOR PET SEMATARY: John Lithgow will play the sweet, lonely neighbor Jud Crandall in the new film adaptation of Stephen King‘s Pet Sematary. The film, which hails from Paramount Pictures, will be shot this summer with the aim of releasing it on April 19th, 2019. Jason Clarke has been cast as Louis Creed, the father who becomes friendly with Jud.

DISNEY GREENLIGHTS LIVE-ACTION COOP AND CAMI: Disney Channel is greenlighting a live-action comedy series about two middle school siblings who make their decisions based on opinions they’ve crowdsourced online. Coop and Cami Ask the World stars newcomer Dakota Lotus and social media influencer/actress Ruby Rose Turner as Cooper and Cameron Wrather. The show targets kids 6-14 and will premiere this fall, exact date TBD.

A&E INVESTIGATES TO LOOK AT NXIVM: The premiere episode of A&E InvestigatesCults and Extreme Belief will look at Nxivm. The organization has made headlines recently after the alleged sex cult’s leader Keith Raniere, and one of his top deputies, Smallville alum Allison Mack, were arrested and charged with sex trafficking. (On Friday, a judge scheduled their trial date for October 1st). Elizabeth Vargas hosts. Cults and Extreme Belief kicks off with a two-night premiere on Monday, May 28 and Tuesday May 29 at 10 PM on A&E.
