The final witness testified in Damien Taylor's jury trial in B.C. Supreme Court today. Taylor is charged with the second degree murder of his 16 year old girl friend C.J. Fowler in December 2012. Her body was found near Guerin Creek crushed beneath a concrete slab.
The SPCA is warning horse owners to ensure their animals have plenty of feed for the Winter. Special Constable Jamie Wiltse says this has been a down year for hay and that may lead to a shortage. Wiltse says now is a critical time for horse owners to stock up for the Winter.

We first brought you the story of illegal dumping outside of the St. Vincent De Paul Society yesterday, an organization on the north shore that helps people in need; lately it's turned into a dumping ground for people dropping off their garbage and unwanted goods.
The man accused of murdering his girlfriend in Kamloops nearly three years ago, was back on the stand today in BC Supreme Court. Damien Taylor is charged with second-degree murder in connection to the death of 16-year old CJ Fowler.
