B.C. forests minister says campers can expect more camp fire bans this summer

VICTORIA — Forests Minister Steve Thomson says he’s preparing to take swift action this summer when it comes to issuing camp fire bans, with this long weekend being one of the few holidays where the fires are allowed across British Columbia.

Mock oil spill planned along Trans Mountain pipeline in Merritt

Bear attack in Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — A Prince George man has an incredible story of survival.

Yesterday afternoon (May 18) around 4:30, Reid Roberts was attacked by a bear in Forests for the World.

The 46-year-old teacher was running with his dog Pacer.
