KAMLOOPS — The Western Hockey League is looking into an incident in the 3rd period of Saturday nights game in Kelowna between the Rockets and Kamloops Blazers.

Montana Oneybuchi was assessed a major penalty for fighting and a game misconduct for a fight against the Rockets Connor Bruggen-Cate.

Bruggen-Cate wasn't penalized.

The league is trying to find out what set off Oneybuchi that led to the one sided fight.

Neither the League nor the Blazers are commenting on what may have upset Oneybuchi to go after the Rockets player.
