UPDATE: Highway 1 west of Revelstoke reopened to traffic

REVELSTOKE, B.C. — The Trans-Canada Highway between Revelstoke and Sicamous is now open to traffic.
The stretch of Highway 1 was blocked in both directions earlier today, Oct. 11, due to a crash that knocked down power lines.
A witness on scene says traffic is still quite backed up while traffic begins to flow again.
