KAMLOOPS — There was a big voice for mental health over the weekend, as more than a hundred cyclists hit the streets.

The sixth annual ride don’t hide cycle event was held on Sunday morning, to bring awareness to mental illness, raise money to support families, and put an end to the stigma that surrounds mental health.

According to CMHA, one in five Canadians will experience mental illness in their lifetime. Many are children who aren’t always equipped with the tools or resources to get help.
