WolfPack men’s basketball winning streak snapped at eight

LANGLEY, B.C. — There is a saying that all good things must come to an end. For the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack men’s basketball team, they found that out on Saturday night (Jan 27).

Playing at the Langley Events Centre, the ‘Pack saw their eight game Canada West winning streak come to a halt. They were beaten by the Trinity Western University Spartans 81-74.

The win was Trinity’s second of the year.

Joe Davis (3rd year, forward, Kamloops, BC) who was celebrating his birthday was the leading scorer for TRU with 20 points.
