Kamloops at Canada Summer Games

KAMLOOPS — B.C.’s basketball teams are both 1-and-1 at the Canada Summer Games in Winnipeg.

Players from Kamloops played a key role in the two wins.

Reid Jensen from South Kam had 11 points in an 87-64 win over Nova Scotia on Sunday.

The B.C. boys team lost to Ontario in its opener.

Olivia Morgan-Cherchas, also from South Kam, put up 13 points in the B.C. girls 83-69 win over Newfoundland.

In their second B.C. lost 75-63 to New Brunswick.
