KAMLOOPS — Music is theraputic and no one knows that more than former Great Big Sea performer Sean McCann. The guest speaker at the second annual Shine The Light breakfast, an event that promotes mental wellness, captured the audience with his music and his personal story. Sexually abused as a child, he has battled alcoholism and depression in his adult life.

The money raised on Wednesday morning will help fund a new music therapy program locally with the Canadian Mental Health Association in Kamloops.
