Police looking for suspect after McCracken Station liquor store robbery

KAMLOOPS — RCMP are looking for a suspect following a robbery last night at the McCracken Station Liquor Store in Valleyview. 

Police say a man entered the store on Valleyview Drive about 9:00 PM last night (Tuesday), selected a few bottles of liquor and approached the clerk.

He pulled out a silver handgun and demanded money from the cashier. The man left with the booze and an undetermined amount of cash.

• Caucasian- 40-50 years old
• Medium to large build
• Large piercing in his left ear
• Wearing a brown zip-up coat with white piping around the collar and sleeves. The coat had a logo with some kind of lettering on the front
• Blue toque, blue jeans and runners

Police say the suspect arrived and left in a car, but there is no description of the vehicle available.
