KAMLOOPS — United Way Thompson-Nicola-Cariboo is putting out a special call for donations to help incoming Syrian refugees.

Executive Director Danalee Baker says the money would go to Refugees and Friends Together, Kamloops Immigrant Services, and other local organizations working to get refugees settled here.

25,000 Syrian refugees are coming to Canada by March of next year, 3,000 of them destined for BC.
