Apparent shooting outside Sahali hotel

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP members swarmed the area around a Sahali hotel Monday evening (May 6), responding to an apparent shooting.

The incident happened just before 7:00 p.m. at the Ramada Inn, near the intersection of Pemberton Terrace and Columbia Street West.

RCMP on scene did not offer any comment.

A wide area around the scene was taped off. Pylons marked evidence on the travel lanes of Pemberton Terrace and in the covered parking area beneath guest rooms of the Ramada Inn.
