In its April 1 survey released Friday (Apr. 8), the BCRFC says the overall snowpack in B.C. is 112 per cent of normal. The only region in the province that is below normal is the East Kootenays at 93 per cent.

Closer to Kamloops, the snowpack measurements are as follows:

  • Lower Thompson — 122 per cent of normal
  • Bridge — 103 per cent
  • Chilcotin — 125 per cent
  • North Thompson — 103 per cent
  • South Thompson — 100 per cent
