B.C. gives up four in the 10th in Brier loss to Saskatchewan

KAMLOOPS — Saskatchewan scored four in the 10th end for a 9-8 win over B.C. this morning at the Brier.

It was a game with several turns.

Saskatchewan took a 4-1 lead after five ends.

B.C. scored three in the 6th and stole two in the 7th to lead 6-4, and held Saskatchewan to one in the 8th end.

B.C. looked to be on its way to the win with two in the 9th togo up 8-5.

B.C. drops to 1-and-2 while Saskatchewan improves to 2-and-1.

There was a strong Kamloops connection to the game.

Jim Cotter, who was raised and cut his curling teeth in Kamloops, is making his B.C. record 9th Brier appearance while Saskatchewan is skipped by Matt Dunstone, who lives in Kamloops.
