KAMLOOPS — A cold front making its way through the area is expected to produce snowfall in the Coquihalla corridor this weekend.
Environment Canada forecaster Doug Lundquist says up to 25 centimetres of snow could fall in the next 48 hours.
“This cold front that’s coming through will bring snow to the area so we’re talking about maybe 10 to 15 centimetres in the tonight period, another five to 10 tomorrow, so all totalled 15 to 25,” he says. “That’s really only in the Coquihalla part of it.”
Lundquist says most of that will centre around the Great Bear snowshed.
