Kamloops’ Heritage Engagement Group looking for new member to serve two-year term
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops residents who are knowledgeable and passionate about heritage in the community are being asked to bring their insight forward.
The City of Kamloops says it’s searching for a resident to serve as a community representative for the Heritage Engagement Group on a two-year term, on a voluntary basis.
The city says the Heritage Engagement Group meets quarterly to assist and support Kamloops’ Livability and Sustainability Select Committee. It consists of seven representatives from the public and two city liaisons.
The Heritage Engagement Group provides input and recommendations on initiatives such as:
