KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers have signed American defenceman Chase Gill to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.

The 15-year-old from Seal Beach, California was selected by the Blazers in the second round, 33rd overall in the 2025 WHL U.S. Prospects Draft. Gill will be heading into his 16-year-old WHL season, should he earn a spot on the Blazers’ roster this fall.

Standing five-foot-11, Gill played 54 games with L.A. Jr. Kings 15U team last season and led all defencemen in scoring with 15 goals, 32 assists and 47 points.

Gill joins defenseman Mateo Ferreira and forwards Teagen Bouchard, Brady Ondrus and Collin Kim as the five blazers born in 2010 to sign with the Blazers.
