Conan O’Brien has partnered with cybersecurity firm Adaptive Security to create a 15-part training series addressing AI-related cyber threats. The series, filmed in Los Angeles this spring, educates business employees on recognizing deepfakes, voice cloning, impersonation attempts, phishing, and physical safety risks. Scripts were co-written by Team Coco staffers and Adaptive Security personnel. New York-based Adaptive Security, founded in 2024 by Brian Long and Andrew Jones, targets the growing AI fraud problem. Experts project AI-driven fraud losses will jump from $12.3 billion in 2023 to $40 billion by 2027. The company has raised over $140 million.
