KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops NorthPaws will host the Corvallis Knights on Friday, May 29, 2026 to begin next summer’s West Coast League (WCL) baseball season.

The NorthPaws and Knights will play a three game series at NorBrock Stadium May 29 to 31, after which Kamloops will play six on the road against the Ridgefield Raptors and the Wenatchee AppleSox. They’ll then return for a six-game homestand against the Port Angeles Lefties and the Walla Walla Sweets.

Kamloops will host the Kelowna Falcons on Canada Day, July 1, the second game in a three game series against their B.C. Interior rivals that runs June 30 to July 2. They’ll also play a three-game series in Kelowna June 23 to 25.

They’ll also host the Nanaimo NightOwls and the Victoria HarbourCats June 26 to 28 and July 10 to 12 respectively. The NorthPaws will play games in Victoria between July 24 and 26 and in Nanaimo Aug. 3 to 6 to close out the season.

In all, the NorthPaws are scheduled to play 54 games during the West Coast League regular season — 36 of which will come before the All-Star game, which will be played in Victoria on Wednesday, July 15.

They’ll then play another 18 games — nine at home and nine away — to close out the regular season with playoffs scheduled to begin on Aug. 7.

WCL playoffs will once again begin with best-of-three divisional playoffs in both the North and South division Aug 7 to 9, followed by the division championship games on Tuesday, Aug. 11.

The 2026 West Coast League Championship Game will be played on Thursday, Aug. 13.

The NorthPaws just missed out on a playoff berth last season as they finished with a 25-29 record, which had them fifth in the North Division. They almost equalled the 27 wins that they managed in the 2023 (12) and 2024 (15) season combined.

“It’s definitely a step forward from last year and the year before,” NorthPaws Head Coach Riley Jepson said in August. “We would have obviously liked to make playoffs but I’m proud of this group and how they competed.”

Jepson, a Kamloops minor baseball product, is expected to be back behind the bench next season. Should that happen, he’ll be the first head coach to remain in the role for more than one summer.
