TAKE A LOOK: Stankoven name officially engraved on Stanley Cup

KAMLOOPS — The Stankoven name has officially been engraved onto the Stanley Cup.

The Carolina Hurricanes shared a picture on social media Wednesday (July 7) showing the 53 names of players and staff – as well as family members of owner Tom Dundon – to forever commemorate the 2025-26 championship season.

The Hurricanes blanked the hometown Vegas Golden Knights 3-0 last month to capture the second Stanley Cup in franchise history.

Players are listed alphabetically by last name, making Stankoven’s easily visible. It’s the first name on the bottom row of the alongside Andrei Svechnikov and Sean Walker.
