Stankoven first Stanley Cup winner from Kamloops since Recchi in 2011

LAS VEGAS — Logan Stankoven and the Carolina Hurricanes are Stanley Cup champions.


WES AND DEANA STANKOVEN INTERVIEW

The Hurricanes blanked the hometown Vegas Golden Knights 3-0 to win the best-of-seven Cup final series 4-2, with Stankoven recording one assist and finishing plus-2 in Game 6.

Stankoven notched 11 goals (the most by a player from Kamloops in a single NHL post-season) and 16 points in 19 playoff games.
