RCMP searching for two suspects in attempted vehicle theft in Williams Lake
WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects in an attempted vehicle theft in Williams Lake.
In a news release issued Thursday (April 4), Williams Lake RCMP say officers were called to the 1100-block of South Lakeside Drive at around 10:00 p.m. Monday (April 1) where two suspects were seen breaking into a vehicle. When they were confronted by the owner, police say the two suspects left the area.
“We want to remind the public that if you see suspicious activity and feel a crime is being committed, under no circumstances should you approach the person(s), rather call the police immediately,” Insp. Rob Lake says.
The two suspects were reportedly last seen heading north on South Lakeside Drive. Police say there were no reported injuries.
