KAMLOOPS — Multiple people were arrested after police responded to a home on the North Shore that’s believed to have weapons.
In a news release Thursday (Nov. 30) evening, Kamloops RCMP say officers responded to a reported assault near Halston and Sudbury Avenues at around noon Thursday which led them to a home on 13th Street that’s known to police. The section of 13th Street was closed off as Kamloops RCMP waited for reinforcements from the Southeast District Emergency Response Team.
While a small police presence remains in the area as officers work to execute a search warrant, the section of 13th Street has since reopened. No exact number of people arrested, or descriptions, were provided.
