RCMP say second bone found near Kamloops Airport not human
KAMLOOPS — RCMP say a bone found near Kamloops Airport earlier this month was not human after all.
In a news release issued Monday (Apr. 25), RCMP said a second human bone had been found near Kamloops Airport.
Tuesday, spokesperson Cst. Crystal Evelyn said an updated report confirmed the bone is not human. Evelyn said it may have belonged to a juvenile deer, though that is not confirmed.
The first bone found near that location, reported on March 26, has been confirmed to be human.
