KAMLOOPS — All eligible adults in B.C. will soon be able to follow a three-step process to register and book their vaccine appointments online.

The B.C. government’s online registration program opens Tuesday (April 6) at 8 a.m. as part of Phase 3 of B.C.’s COVID-19 Immunization plan.

There are three steps for residents to register and book your vaccine appointment:

  • Register: First, register when it is your turn and get a confirmation code.
  • Book: Book a vaccine appointment when you get an email, text, or phone call telling you are eligible to book, based on your age.
  • Get vaccinated: Visit a vaccine clinic to get your vaccine dose.

As of Monday, B.C. residents born in 1950 and earlier (71 and older), Indigenous peoples 18 and older, and those who are clinically extremely vulnerable may register to book their COVID-19 vaccine appointment.

“Today marks a major milestone in our fight against COVID-19, and we ask everyone to wait their turn and follow three steps to help put this pandemic behind us,” Premier John Horgan stated.

People who are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine can register and book online, in person at the nearest Service B.C. location, or via telephone through a provincial call centre toll-free at 1 (833) 838-2323.

To preserve system capacity, residents are asked to wait until their age cohort is called to register.

B.C. residents can track when their age cohort is due for registration online.
