ANTAKYA, Turkey — On the heels of a four-goal performance midweek, Canadian international Cyle Larin scored again Sunday in Besiktas’ 2-2 tie at Hatayspor.

The 25-year-old from Brampton, Ont., tied the game at 2-2 in the 41st minute, rising high to head the ball home off a corner.

Veteran Canadian midfielder Atiba Hutchinson also started for league-leading Besiktas (11-4-2) on Sunday. The Black Eagles hold a two-point lead over Istanbul rival Galatasaray (10-4-3) in the Turkish Super Lig.

Larin came into Sunday’s game tied for the Super Lig scoring lead with Hatayspor’s Aaron-Salem Boupendza with 10 goals apiece. The Gabon forward scored both goals for Hatayspor on Sunday, moving him one head of Larin.
