KAMLOOPS — It’s a sign the $400-million Royal Inland Hospital Patient Care Tower project is moving to a new phase.
Interior Health says the two massive construction cranes on the site will be dismantled next week.
The Ring Road leading to the patient drop-off area will be reduced to single-lane traffic from Jan. 11 to 17 as primary contractor EllisDon takes the cranes down. Short-term parking spaces adjacent to the roundabout will be closed.
Traffic will also be impacted around the nearby Ponderosa Lodge, specifically its physician and mobility-restricted parking spaces.
