WILLIAMS LAKE — Flooding has prompted the Cariboo Regional District to issue new evacuation orders Saturday.
One home in the Milburn Lake Road area west of Bouchie Lake is affected. Another property in the 150 Mile House area near Borland Creek has been issued an evacuation order.
The CRD strongly encourages its residents to register for the Cariboo Chilcotin Emergency Notification System to receive a text, call or email regarding evacuation alerts and orders.
Flooding forced the cities of Quesnel and Williams Lake to declare local states of emergency Friday.
It also follows the evacuation of five properties in the CRD region on Friday as well.
