Kamloops teams open wins at B.C. girls basketball

KAMLOOPS — Two Kamloops teams have opened with wins at the B.C. Girls “AAA” basketball championships in Langley.

The number five ranked South Kam Titans defeated number twelve Ballenas 52-42.

Valleyview, seeded seventh, won 66-45 over number ten Pitt Meadows.

South Kam plays number four Argyle and Valleyview will take on number two Okanagan Mission in todays quarter finals.
