Blazers end six game slide in PG with 3-1 win over Cougars

KAMLOOPS — A trip to the CN Centre was just what the doctor ordered for the Kamloops Blazers, as they snapped their six-game losing skid Saturday night with a 3-1 win over the Cougars.

Kyrell Sopotyk, Connor Zary, and Martin Lang all tallied for the Blazers, while Josh Maser potted the lone goal for the Cougars.

Dylan Ferguson stopped 25 of 26 in a winning effort for the Blazers. Taylor Gauthier took the loss between the pipes for Prince George.

The win moved the Blazers into a tie with Prince George in the WHL’s BC Division. Each team has 35 points.
