Jim Pattison Broadcast Group announces change in Kamloops leadership

KAMLOOPS — The Jim Pattison Broadcast Group in Kamloops has a new face at the top.

Leo Baggio will take over as general manager, effective immediately.

Rod Schween, who previously held the GM position in addition to serving as president of the group, will step away from day-to-day management in order to focus on strategic growth of the group.

Baggio will retain his duties as general sales manager for the Kamloops operation.

Schween announced the change to staff Thursday morning (Jan. 10).

Baggio is no stranger to the Kamloops media market, having spent more than two decades as a radio personality on 98.3 CIFM.

He departed Kamloops in 2012 to head up the broadcast group’s East Kootenay operations, based in Cranbrook.

Baggio returned to Kamloops in January, 2018 as general sales manager.
