KAMLOOPS — It’s a tribute to women in hockey, based on the real life story of a Canadian women’s hockey team in the 1930s.

Western Canada Theatre’s Glory is now on stage at Sagebrush Theatre.

The production focuses on two pairs of sisters, members of the Preston Rivulettes, a team that won more than 95 per cent of its games.

It’s a record yet to be broken by any men’s or women’s team, proving that a woman’s place is on home ice.

The play takes a closer look at these women who paved the way for the future of all women through their perseverance, ambition, and sense of play.

The production brings to life their joys, struggles and determination.

The production is a world premiere kicking off right here in Kamloops.

Glory plays now through March 3 at the Sagebrush Theatre.

Tickets are available at Kamloops Live box office
