Cooper’s Foods changing branding to Save-On-Foods

KAMLOOPS — Cooper’s Foods, the brand which began in Kamloops 48 years ago, will vanish on Thursday February 18th.

That’s when the Overwaitea Food Group will change all Kamloops Cooper’s locations to Save-On Foods stores. 

Cooper’s has four Kamloops locations in Westsyde, Brocklehurst, Valleyview, and downtown.

“It helps us to consolidate our banners, but more importantly, our customers have been asking for this,” said Tony Piwek, General Manager of Overwaitea’s BC Operations.

Piwek adds though the Cooper’s name is well-loved across the province, the transition will be a benefit to customers.
