Man brandishes knife, robs Chase Groceteria

CHASE, B.C. — RCMP in Chase are investigating a knifepoint robbery last night.

Police say a man entered the Chase Groceteria at about 6:30 p.m. carrying a knife and demanding money.

After he received some money, the man took off on foot.

The male suspect is described as First Nations, about 5-foot-6 with a medium build.

He was wearing a black hooded sweater, grey pants and a red handkerchief covering his face.

Anyone who knows anything about the crime is asked to contact Chase RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
