Director Sina Sultani is seeking Indo-Canadian, Indigenous, Middle Eastern, North African and people of Persian descent for his film "Refuge" which will shoot in an area west of Kamloops around Cherry Creek Oct. 19-21.

Refuge has been billed as "a story about a devastating alien invasion that sends a young husband and his pregnant wife on a dark harrowing flight to freedom."

Some roles may be needed for all three days and others may not. Days will be eight hours long and those chosen will be paid a flat fee of $90 per day and will be fed on set and credited on screen.

The parent or guardian must remain with the minor at all times and all those applying must be eligible to work in Canada and have their own transportation.

The casting session will take place this Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Plaza Hotel Blackwell Room, at 405 Victoria Street, in Kamloops.

Call backs will be contacted for another session at the same time and place a week later.
