Wolfpack soccer teams having a busy weekend.

KAMLOOPS — The Canada West season kicked off for the Kamloops Wolfpack men's soccer team yesterday.

The Pack tied the UNBC Timberwolves 1-1, after leading 1-0 at the half.

Mitch Popadynetz scored the TRU goal 9 minutes in.

The two teams meet again this afternoon.

The Wolfpack play their home opener next Saturday at Hillside Stadium against the University of Victoria. 


TRU Women's soccer team tied Saint Martin's University Saints 1-1 in pre-season action yesterday in Lacy, Washington.

Keenan Degen got the goal for the Wolfpack, who go to 0-4-1 in the pre-season.

The Pack wind up the preseason with a game today against Pacific Lutheran College.
