Accident victim identified following crash near Canoe, B.C.

SALMON ARM, B.C. — The BC Coroners service has identified the man killed in a crash just east of Salmon Arm on Monday. 

55-year-old Richard Allen Davidson of Sicamous was driving a Ford F-250 pickup westbound on Highway 1 near Canoe when he collided head-on with an eastbound semi. 

Three of Davidson's passengers were injured.

RCMP and the BC Coroners Service continue to investigate the crash.
