Students walk for autism awareness

KAMLOOPS — Westmount Elementary School Students spent the afternoon along the North Thompson River, walking in solidarity for classmates with autism and other disabilities.

The entire school took part in the special event, in partnership with the Canucks Autism Network. The walk today was in celebration of Autism Awareness month in April, and students have been learning all about it while becoming more compassionate for people living with autism spectrum disorder.
