Kamloops’ Thompson and Kelowna’s Scott to meet to decide 1st at B.C. Scotties

KAMLOOPS — Karla Thompson  has suffered her first loss at the B.C. women’s curling playdowns.

 The Thompson skipped Kamloops Curling Centre rink lost 11-7 to Royal City’s Amy Gibson this morning.

At 5-and-1 Thompson has already clinched a berth in the Page Playoffs, but with this mornings loss still hasn’t locked up first place.

Six time B.C. champion Kelly Scott of Kelowna, at 5-and-1, has also clinched a playoff.
