Kamloops to Calgary flight makes emergency landing in Kelowna

KELOWNA — Air Canada Jazz, Flight 8226 carrying 65 people that took off from the Kamloops Airport Saturday, January 9 had to make a emergency landing at Kelowna International Airport.
The plane took off from YKA Airport at 2:24pm, and is now scheduled to land at 8:20pm MST at Calgary International Airport.
Reports indicate the plane, a Dash 8-400 twin-turboprop landed with only one engine.
Emergency crews from Kelowna and Ellison were called to back up airport crews shortly after 3 p.m.
