PRINCE GEORGE - Since a 9-1 loss to the Blazers on November 15 the Prince George Cougars have gone 8-1-1.

Prince George handed Kootenay its 8th straight loss last night, beating the Ice 7-2.

The Cougars lost 3-1 to Calgary in their next game after that loss to Kamloops in mid-November.

Since the Calgary defeat Prince George has lost only once in nine games, and that was in a shootout to the Blazers.

It's moved them up to third place in the Western Conference and the B.C. Division, ten points ahead of Kamloops.
