Pacific Way now open to traffic
KAMLOOPS — Traffic will soon be flowing normally along Pacific Way.
Rehabilitation work that began in July is complete, and consisted of replacement of 800 m of water main.
Capital Project Manager Darren Crundwell says the project took a bit longer than expected, but came in under the $2.9 million budget.
“We will be a little bit under budget. We did not use any of the contingency money we had, we also made some decisions during the construction to re-align and re-use some materials on site. So there is some cost savings, I don’t have the exact numbers – but they will be reported out soon,” said Crundwell.
