Home Depot holds fundraiser to help homeless youth
KAMLOOPS — Home Depot is well on its way to fulfilling a commitment to raise $10 million in an effort to eradicate youth homelessness.
The Kamloops location is doing its part, and held a fundraising event Saturday, Oct. 8, for the Orange Door Project.
The event included a children’s workshop and barbeque, with all proceeds going to Interior Community Services.
Front end supervisor Gina Dillon says customers also have the option to donate two dollars to the cause with every purchase.
