KAMLOOPS — Williams Lake RCMP have put out a warning to the city’s parents about the dangers of fentanyl.
In a news release, Detachment Commander Insp. Jeff Pelley says the local detachment has responded to several fentanyl-related calls recently.
The warning tells parents that officers often encounter teens who tell them their parents have no idea they are using drugs.
It includes a list of tips on how to speak to children about drugs, and another list of signs that teenagers are using drugs.
