PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP is hoping the public can help identify the man and woman who stole thousands of dollars worth of lottery tickets.

Police say the pair broke into a locked vehicle on St Frances Crescent in College Heights.

It happened sometime between 9pm April 4, and 6am April 5.

More than $6500 in winning tickets were taken.

Through the investigation, officers found the tickets had been redeemed here in Prince George, as well as in Quesnel, Williams Lake and Chilliwack.

Police are now sharing two surveillance images of the suspects, as well as the truck they were believed to have been driving.

Although it has the West Fraser logo, the vehicle is not believed to be connected to the company.

Anyone with information should call the detachment at (250)561-3300, or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1(800)222-8477.
