KAMLOOPS — A day after the parent company of Canadian Freightways, Transforce, confirmed its Kamloops location would be shutting down next week, Thompson Rivers University says it’s bought the property.
TRU’s Vice-President of Advancement Christopher Seguin confirming to CFJC Today the university purchased the lot on McGill Road October 31.
Seguin says the university feels the property is a key piece of land for future development, although it hasn’t determined what it will include. The property lies near the southwest entrance to the campus.
